LYSA Force Travel Soccer Tryouts — 2026–2027
Age Groups: Boys and Girls, U9–U15
Dates: Tuesday, May 19 and Thursday, May 21
Time: 5:30–7:00 PM
Location: Lenoir Rotary Soccer Complex, 1050 Zack's Fork Road, Lenoir, NC
Field: Field 9 (set back in the woods)
Tryouts
Players must attend at least one tryout session. Attending both is optional but encouraged.
Registration
Do not register through the Lenoir Youth Soccer website — it is currently set up for the recreation league only. Registration forms will be distributed and completed at tryouts.
Program Information
Visit the website and click the Menu tab in the top left. Under Program Information, select Classic (U11 and up) or Academy (U10 and under) to learn what each program offers.
Practice & Travel Commitment
Both Academy and Classic programs practice at least twice per week and require travel on some weekends for games.
Who These Programs Are For
These programs are designed for players who have a solid soccer foundation and are ready for a more competitive environment. Most practices will focus on team tactics with some advanced technical training. Players are encouraged to continue developing their individual skills outside of scheduled practices to get the most out of the program.
Game Time (Classic Program)
In the Classic Program, game time is based on skill level and is not guaranteed. Coaches will provide feedback on specific areas players can work on to earn more time on the field.
